About the Designer

Cecilie Kamp was educated at Aarhus School of Architecture in 2014. During her studies, she spent half a year as a cabinet maker and several months studying the art and crafts of the Māori culture in New Zealand. This gave her a great understanding of working with a unique and living material like wood; it started her desire for finding the quality in every raw material and bringing out its beauty.

Designs Filosofy

Cecilie designs with a great wish of touching people with her designs and recalling the feelings that great design brings within the viewer. Her philosophy is that only by creating designs of a certain aesthetic and material quality, can you make the user engage with the design and make it last for many years.

The judge's comments for 2024: "The table exudes modern elegance and will be a perfect centrepiece in any home."

The rectangular and round Amelia dining tables respectively won the "Design Favoritter" award in 2023 and 2024. This award, hosted by Bolig Magasinet and Bo Bedre, recognizes notable designs in various categories.

The judge's comments for 2023: "A dining table with power and elegance. Well-considered and crystal-clear design."
