When the charging company E.ON Drive reached out to Cecilie Kamp in January 2024, they asked for a complete interior concept for their very first waiting lounge and conference room. This project was crucial for E.ON Drive, as it was meant to set a new standard for their customer spaces.
Based on an analysis of E.ON as a brand, the electric car identity, and a thorough understanding of the customers’ needs, Cecilie Kamp crafted a design that embodied both comfort and innovation. She focused on creating a calming and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every element was thoughtfully selected to enhance the user experience.
To achieve this, Cecilie incorporated a range of environmentally friendly choices, using sustainable and recycled materials. The lounge and conference room were designed to be not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, providing a serene space for customers to relax and recharge while their vehicles did the same.

Cecilie Kamp selected high-quality furniture for both the lounge and the conference room to ensure safety and longevity.

All the chairs and wooden tables are carefully selected for this project. They are designed and produced by WOUD.

All decorative elements used in this lounge are sourced from thrift shops, which not only adds unique character but also supports families and individuals in need.

Cecilie Kamp implemented more zones in the lounge, each catering to different needs. Right inside the door, users are greeted by a photo from the local area and a graphic indicating that, in this case, you are in the Horsens lounge.

Cecilie Kamp decided to use a local nature photographer to emphasize the calming and natural atmosphere in the lounge and conference room.

This children's table is designed to activate children in a healthy and calm way, providing them with a welcome break from the drive. The table itself is crafted from recycled textile waste, making it 100% reusable. This sustainable approach not only minimizes environmental impact but also promotes a circular economy.

The graphics on the table are designed to mimic the the E.ON Drive charging station, creating a cohesive visual identity .

In addition to the interior design, Cecilie Kamp created all the graphics and communication for the project, including signage and displays, to ensure a cohesive and immersive experience.

She integrated branding and storytelling elements to highlight E.ON Drive’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, making the space both visually appealing and meaningful for customers.
