A new Dynamic Range

Cecilie Kamp has recently released a new collection called “Aretha,” which was designed in November of 2023. The table takes inspiration from the dynamic action of wood as it gives way to the force of a blade. It has a visually striking appearance that expertly blends durability with dynamism. A metal component runs from one end of the table to the other, cutting up the wood and creating a remarkable contrast that instantly catches the eye.

Balance and Contrasts

The rounded wooden parts of the dining chair are encased in a contrasting metal grid, which provides support to the organic, rounded shapes while also tightening the entire structure of the chair. The integration of organic wooden components with the metal grid contributes an element of structure and cohesiveness to the design. With the seamless combination of natural and man-made materials, the end result is a visually appealing, practical, comfortable, and durable product.

Curie - A New Series!

The brand new series named “Curie”, by Cecilie Kamp, is inspired by the restrained use of materials in the 1970s, where beauty is found in simple constructions made of humble and durable materials. They do not compete with the surroundings for attention and can be included in a wide variety of environments, lasting for many years.
